Are Frequent Earthquakes a Sign that End of World is Near?

It has been observed that every year the earthquakes around the world are increasing rapidly, showing high readings at the rector scales. For many of us it is not a normal sign at all.  Seeing the large number of earthquakes jolting the earth at such short time intervals makes it quite scarier.

These unusual signs were predicted by our Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him) 1400 years ago.

Regular occurrences of earthquake are surely a sign that the beginning of the Final hour is near according to Qur’an and Sunnah. This may be a mercy for the Ummah and expiation for its sins.

On many occasions our beloved Messeger (PBUH) has told about the earthquakes as the signs of the hour.

Abu Moosa Al-Ash’ari (r.a) narrated that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:

“My Ummah is a nation that is blessed; it will not be punished in the hereafter because Allah has caused its punishment to come in this world, in the form of killing, earthquakes and turmoil.” (Ahmad and Al-Haakim)

These frequent earthquakes may also be considered a punishment for those people who have caused great corruption on the face of the earth.

On another occasion Abu Hurayrah (r.a) narrated that the Prophet (PBUH) said:

“The hour will not begin until knowledge is taken away and many earthquakes occur.” (Bukhari)

Abd-Allaah ibn Hawaalah Al-Azdi (r.a) narrated that Muhammad (PBUH) said:

“When you see the caliphate settled in the holy land, calamities, earthquakes and terrific events will have drawn near. On that day the last hour will be as nearer to mankind as my hand to your head.” (Abu Dawood)

The way things are going, it seems the world’s end is just a matter of time God willing. We all should straighten ourselves and with every passing second we must try harder to come back to Allah and His Deen. Only this can save us from the humiliation that we may suffer in front of our creator.

5 Things that will Happen in the Time of ‘Eesa (a.s) Towards End of World

Near the end of the world, the moment ‘Eesa (a.s) descends on earth would be the start of an era where the situation of Muslims will become stable. ‘Eesa (a.s) will be responsible for many missions which would be the main reason of sending him on earth and of these several missions, 5 of them are mentioned below:

Enforcing Shariah Law Globally:

In His time, there wouldn’t be any law existing on the face of the earth. The only law that would exist is the Law of Allah (Shariah). ‘Eesa (a.s) will rule according to Islam and the people at that time will submit themselves to the Islamic legislation. He will be the one who will put an end to the other religions which will make Islam the only religion left in the World.

On an occasion Abu Hurayrah (ra) narrated that Prophet (PBUH) said,

“By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, soon the son of Maryam will descend among you as a just ruler. He will break the cross, kill the pigs, and abolish the Jizyah.”(Bukhari)

Killing of Dajjaal (The False Messiah):

The False Messiah (Dajjaal) will be killed by the hands of ‘Eesa (a.s). No force on this earth would be given with powers to kill Dajjal but only ‘Eesa (a.s) will be provided with such special powers by Allah (SWT) which will make him the only person to kill him.

Hate and Grudges will be taken away:

In the time of ‘Eesa (a.s) there will be peace and harmony among the entire living beings on this planet. There won’t be a single sign of hatred and Grudge on earth. This will be a great blessing through Islam by Allah (SWT).

The sky will be given permission to rain and the earth will be given permission to give out its vegetation. Even ferocious animals like Lion and snakes would not harm anyone.

End of wars and fighting:

‘Eesa ibn Maryam will be sent as a just ruler and a fair judge on this planet. His era will be so blessed that a child could be able to play with a snake, wolfs will be able to gaze with the sheep and the Lions will gaze with the cattle. No one will harm the other.

There will be no wars or fighting taking place on the face of the earth. His coming would mark an end to every drop of hate present in this world.

Termination of the power of Quraysh:

His time would rest all the power of Qurayash to dust. The Qurayash would not be ruling any part of this world.
